Optional OpenAI ad measurement
Updated 28 October 2026. Patricia Nails Academy uses optional OpenAI measurement to understand visits and paid purchases following our ChatGPT ads. This setting is off until you choose to allow it. Your choice applies to patricianailsacademy.com and learn.patricianailsacademy.com. You can browse and buy courses without allowing this measurement.
If you allow it, we may share an ad click reference, a browser reference, an opaque purchase reference, purchase time, value and currency with OpenAI. When you follow a link from our main website to our online course website, we may add the consented ad click reference to that link to preserve attribution. On our online course website, the OpenAI Pixel also measures page visits and paid purchases and may receive technical information associated with its browser requests, such as your IP address and browser information.
The Pixel’s automatic advanced matching can detect email, name or phone details entered into recognisable fields on our online course website. It normalises and hashes those details in your browser before sending the hashes to OpenAI for matching. Raw contact details are not sent through this automatic matching. Hashing does not make the information anonymous. Our main website’s server purchase measurement does not send names, email addresses or phone numbers to OpenAI.
We rely on your consent for this optional measurement. To change your choice on either website, use the Privacy settings link in the footer. It opens the controls in this privacy notice, where you can allow measurement or turn it off at any time. You can also change OpenAI ad measurement through the main website’s Privacy Preferences when that banner is displayed. Withdrawing consent stops future measurement and prevents queued server events that have not yet been sent. It does not undo information already transmitted before withdrawal.
Cookies and retention for this setting
The essential preference cookie pna_oac_consent remembers your choice for 180 days. The essential security cookie pna_oac_csrf lasts 30 minutes and protects changes to that choice. These cookies do not contain your name or contact details. We keep a random consent reference, the notice version, the choice and its timestamps on our server so that we can honour withdrawal. That record expires with the consent and is removed by the next scheduled cleanup.
Only after you allow measurement, pna_oac_attribution can retain the ad click reference for up to 30 days, limited by the life of your consent. The OpenAI Pixel can use __oppref for up to 30 days and __obref for up to 365 days. Turning the setting off removes these measurement cookies from the current browser where accessible. Clearing cookies or using another browser may require a new choice.
OpenAI receives this measurement information. Its processing, retention, international transfers and privacy rights are explained in OpenAI’s Europe privacy policy. For questions about our use of measurement or your privacy choices, please contact Patricia Nails Academy.
